ballet bodies ‘in motion II’

I was invited by artistic director Serenella Sol to choreograph for the Ballet Bodies 2023 presentation of ‘In Motion II”, the second iteration of an annual full evening showcase of multiple works from choreographers. The cast of over 28 dancers performed for 3 sold out shows at the DJD theatre in Calgary, AB.

I had the pleasure of working with 5 incredible young dancers, and also danced in a duet with artistic director Serenella Sol.

Ballet Bodies In Motion II. Our show will feature the choreographic works of Graham McKelvie, Cinzia Eremita, Jared Herring, Melanie Batycky and Serenella Sol. Ballet Bodies in Motion II will highlight the captivating blend of ballet and contemporary dance, showcasing the intricate interplay of physical grace, artistic expression, and diverse movement styles.
